How to use social media correctly and successfully use

the power of “The Synnd Network”

Continue reading:

Joerg would like more direct exposure for his blog; he wants to be viewed as a leader within the social media space. his goal is clear. With this goal in mind this individual needs to create content which will attract his target audience so they can experience his expertise. He wishes to build trust amongst his peers and the community.

He also wants high search engine visibility targeting keywords/phrases that his target audience is likely to search in Google and other major search engines. Together with Synnd as a resource these types of goals are not hard to achieve. So now we will plunge into a single Synnd marketing campaign and how this single marketing campaign laid a significant foundational brick in achieving his objective.

STEP 1: Joerg needed to create some content that would “attract” people to his blog. He wanted to attract these people for several reasons:
1. To get new subscribers to his blog
2. To gain comments (social proof) on his blog post
3. To entice others to “link to” his blog post
4. Traffic
5. Visibility in the search engines (SEO)

Joerg created this blog post: Click Here to visit

STEP 2: Joerg created a “Syndication Campaign” (social voting like Digg – Redit – Propeller etc.) for this content because he knew it was “Socially Interesting Content”. If the post were not socially interesting then Joerg would have just run a “bookmarking campaign” (Delicious – Jumptags) to affect his SEO results instead.

Here is s screenshot of the buzz generated by the Synnd network:

Here is the direct Digg URL of the result.

You can notice that the Synnd network was only responsible for 29 buzzes.… In this circumstance 29 buzzes was just enough for the larger Digg network to notice it and in turn subsequently ran with it.

At the time of this writing, the content has received 76 comments on Digg and 22
comments on Joerg’s blog post.

Now let’s look at Joerg’s traffic stats; all generated and initiated from a single
Synnd Digg campaign which took Joerg less than 2 minutes to set up…

That’s over 6,700 visitors in less than 25 hours.
Now let’s take a snapshot of his incoming links from this single post…

In under 24 hours: Yahoo Site Explorer Results

Be sure to check the link above after about 1 week, and then again in 30 days,
you’ll see an increasing rate of incoming links as a result of this post and
recognition by the Digg community.

Search Engines?

On Google with a query for Nestle Meltdown

you will notice that there are well over 50 social references to his content that consume much of the top 50 spots. Joerg did NONE of this… This is social buzz at its finest.

Check out Yahoo!

Check out Bing

On Twitter you can see re-tweet after re-tweet and Joerg didn’t even do a Twitter campaign on Synnd.

You can see from Joerg’s recognition just in Digg that he was buzzed in other social networks automatically through other peoples’ effort. His post dominates the search engines through social references and his message is propagating all over Twitter and many other networks.

Again, Joerg spent less than 2 minutes creating the Synnd campaign and the rest is automatic. This single campaign and 29 buzzes in Synnd spawned the viral propagation of his content and the results reported in this writing are less
than 24 hours old.

Conclusion:

An important part of the reason with regard to the success of this specific Synnd campaign is the fact that Joerg chose to run a Syndication Campaign (a Digg voting campaign) on content that he knew was socially appealing. Many individuals use social networking incorrectly and make the mistake of running Syndication Campaigns on content that is not interesting and sees little to absolutely no viral punch.

Remember, when you have non-social or uninteresting written content then you should only run bookmarking campaigns to influence your Search engine optimization. Attempting to force non-social content into a human voting network (with Syndication campaigns) is a sure way to waste your time and energy.. For more information on running successful campaigns with Synnd see the Synnd Network.

In parting, Joerg’s case study here is not an isolated incident. We have reports of hundreds of such results and this is the reason we built Synnd in the first place… To produce “nuclear marketing” results… A tiny bit of effort (2 minutes or less)
spawned chain reactions which went well above and beyond the 29 credits Joerg spent to kick it off.

The Synnd network is waiting for you right now.
If you’’re interested in learning more about the network go here.

In The Social Network, Justin Timberlake plays Sean Parker, Facebook’s founding president, and an entrepreneur best known for Napster, which he co-founded at age 19, and which influenced the way people think about and share music. Two years later, Parker co-founded Plaxo, pioneering viral technologies that allow users to easily update contact information and stay in touch with colleagues. He served as Plaxo’s president until 2004, when he joined with Mark Zuckerberg to develop Facebook. Parker was Facebook’s founding president, guiding the company’s early growth and formulating strategies that helped it become the world’s most popular social networking site. His latest company is Causes, which he co-founded in 2007, and which has become the largest online platform for grassroots activism and philanthropy, and the most popular non-game application on Facebook. In addition to founding and leading emerging companies directly, Parker is a managing partner at Founders Fund, a venture capital firm that has backed companies including Facebook, SpaceX (the company NASA hired to resupply the International Space Station), Quantcast, and Mint. This is an excerpt from a roundtable entitled “The Allure of the Hive” held at the Philoctetes Center and moderated by David Kirkpatrick author of the definitive book on Facebook, “The Facebook Effect: The Inside Story of the Company That is Connecting the World”, Sean Parker talks about his strategy at Facebook.

Please let me know what you think of it and what can be changed. I really appreciate your help and best answer gets best answer!!1

To: Melissa Varney
From: Jason Karrels
Date: December 9, 2010

Subject: Communication and Social Media
Did you know that there is a market of over 1 billion people that hasn’t been touched by our company? That market includes social networks like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. These networks have been cashing in on small business advertising. Our clients would benefit greatly if they could learn how to use these networks as a personal billboard for their business. If we can train our employees and clients about this multi-billion dollar industry, our company could see a 35 percent increase in revenue.
Social networking is the biggest thing on the internet. According to Facebook.com, people spend over 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook alone. In order to get access to these networks, we need to train our employees and clients on these social networks. As we usually train small- and medium-size business, if we implemented this course we could see a huge increase in customers. We already have an expert in this field, Mrs. Susan Serrano. She has the knowledge and teaching abilities needed to teach our employees and clients about this lucrative business.
In order to help our customers and elevate our revenue, we need to make an investment. We would need to expect to pay up to ,000 for Susan to design a full course on social networks. Although this may seem like a lot of money, it’s a small figure when compared to the expected revenue increases that we would see in the immediate future.
Susan would need to develop an eight-hour course on “Communication and Social Media.” The course would include coverage of such things as social networks, the most effective ways of advertising through social networks, and how to help increase your company’s good will through social networks. This will be a very in-depth course, and Susan will need a lot of time to prepare it.
This opportunity won’t last long, and we must take the initiative today before someone else steals this lucrative industry out of our hands. Please call me at (541) 975-3*** and we can start the process of implementing this new course. I look forward to your call.
